4 More London, SE1

Located within the More London Estate, the project encompassed the reactivation of the external frontage and a comprehensive refurbishment of the reception and end-of-trip facilities. The building's integration within the public realm, overlooking the Thames, presented unique opportunities to enhance its surroundings through the provision of biodiversity and seating, fostering a greater connection for passers-by.

We also introduced new jesmonite cladding, extending into the reception area, which serves as a visual homage to the rich local history of mudlarking along the Thames. The jesmonites' aggregate and colourways were carefully selected to evoke the earthy tones found in historic pottery. Furthermore, the reception area has been reconfigured to maximize space efficiency and functionality, incorporating a variety of breakout areas. A timber open-top shelving pod demarcates touchdown zones, creating distinct pockets for collaborative workspaces, informal meetings, and soft seating.
